Entry, Safety & Guest Conduct Policy

The Royal Marines Charity Ball is intended to be a welcoming, enjoyable and memorable evening for all guests. George Walker Event Management Ltd works closely with the venue, security personnel and event staff to ensure the evening is professionally managed and that guests can relax and enjoy the occasion.

Guests are kindly asked to follow the guidance below to help ensure the event runs smoothly and safely for everyone attending.

Entry & Admission

Entry to the event is permitted only to guests holding a valid ticket. Tickets may be presented either in printed form or digitally on arrival. Where necessary, guests may also be admitted by confirming the name under which the tickets were booked if they appear on the official guest list.

George Walker Event Management Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or clearly inconsistent with the nature of the event. This may include, but is not limited to:

Disorderly or aggressive behaviour
Excessive intoxication
Failure to follow instructions from event staff or security personnel
Behaviour that may endanger other guests or the venue

In such circumstances, tickets will not be refunded.

Tthis is rarely necessary and our intention is simply to ensure that all guests are able to enjoy the evening comfortably and safely.

Security & Safety

Security personnel and event staff will be present throughout the evening to assist guests and help ensure the safety of the event. Guests may occasionally be asked to follow instructions relating to safety, venue access or event operations and we kindly ask that these directions are respected.

For safety and operational reasons, certain areas of the venue may be restricted or supervised. Guests are asked to follow any signage or instructions provided by staff.

Alcohol & Responsible Enjoyment

Alcohol will be available during the event. Guests are expected to drink responsibly and behave in a respectful manner towards other guests, staff and venue personnel.

The organiser and venue reserve the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any individual who appears excessively intoxicated or whose behaviour is causing concern.

Respect for the Venue & Displays

The event takes place within an operational aviation environment and guests are kindly asked to respect the venue, equipment and any displays present throughout the evening.

Guests should not enter restricted areas, climb on displays or interfere with equipment unless specifically invited to do so as part of the event.

Any deliberate damage to the venue, equipment or event property may result in removal from the event and potential liability for repair or replacement costs.

Photography & Media

Photography and filming may take place during the event for promotional and archival purposes. By attending the event, guests acknowledge that photographs or video footage may be captured in which they appear. If you do not wish to apear in such media please let a member of our team know.

Guests are of course welcome to take personal photographs during the evening; however, we kindly ask that photography does not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests or disrupt any part of the programme.

Assistance & Guest Support

Our team is always available throughout the evening should guests require assistance or have any questions. We want everyone attending the Royal Marines Charity Ball to feel welcome and very well looked after and staff will be happy to help wherever possible.

By attending the event, guests agree to follow the guidance outlined in this policy so that everyone can enjoy a safe, respectful and memorable evening.
