Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 March 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of tickets and attendance at events organised by George Walker Event Management Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “the organiser”). By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to these terms.
1. Event Organiser
The Royal Marines Charity Ball is organised by:
George Walker Event Management Ltd
Furlong House
Keith Hall
Inverurie
Aberdeenshire
AB51 0JY
United Kingdom
Company No: SC288757
George Walker Event Management Ltd is responsible for the organisation, management and administration of the event.
2. Ticket Purchases
Tickets are sold through the event website using the Wix ticketing platform.
All ticket purchases are subject to availability and are confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.
Tickets are issued electronically and will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
Guests may be asked to present their ticket (digital or printed) or provide the booking name on arrival.
3. Ticket Types and Table Seating
The event operates primarily with tables of ten guests.
Guests may purchase:

  • Individual tickets, or

  • Full tables (10 tickets)

Purchasing ten tickets in a single booking guarantees a private table for your party.
If multiple bookings are made separately but guests wish to sit together, we will do our best to accommodate requests where possible. However, to guarantee seating together it is recommended that all tickets are purchased under a single booking.
Where bookings exceed ten tickets, multiple tables will be allocated accordingly.
4. Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another guest if required. The original purchaser remains responsible for ensuring all guests are aware of the event terms and conditions.
If ticket details need to be updated (for example guest names or dietary requirements), please contact the organiser in advance of the event where possible.
5. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated, tickets are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another guest.
Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances at the organiser’s discretion.
6. Event Changes, Postponement or Cancellation
While every effort will be made to deliver the event as advertised, the organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event programme, entertainment, schedule or venue if necessary.
In the unlikely event that the event must be cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will be contacted with further information.
If the event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, ticket holders may be offered a refund or alternative arrangement at the organiser’s discretion.
7. Entry and Admission
Admission is granted only to guests holding a valid ticket.
Guests must comply with all venue regulations and reasonable instructions given by the organiser or venue staff.
George Walker Event Management Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or clearly inconsistent with the nature of the event.
This may include, but is not limited to:

  • abusive or threatening behaviour

  • excessive intoxication

  • harassment of other guests or staff

  • failure to comply with venue safety requirements

Guests removed from the event for such reasons will not be entitled to a refund.

The Royal Marines Charity Ball is a formal black-tie evening.
Guests are expected to attend in Black Tie or Military Mess Dress.
Further guidance on dress code may be provided on the event website.

11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to this, the organiser’s liability in connection with the event is limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.
The organiser cannot accept responsibility for:

  • travel disruption

  • accommodation costs

  • third-party expenses incurred by guests
